| Description From Source | 0.16 metres of textual material (1 outsize box) – manuscript. Individual letters were paper-clipped together; this arrangement was kept. Includes 15 handwritten letters, in Latvian, from Valdemars and Zigrida to his sister Maij and to other family members. Also included are 12 handwritten translations of selected letters into English. Three of the letters are written whilst on board ship on their way to Australia. |
