| Description From Source | 1 cm. Photocopies from the Yugoslav ethnic newspaper “Napredak”, 30 May 1957 and of photographs of the Napredak Club in Broken Hill, 1960 and 1988. This material relates to Mary Stenning’s father, Mate Alagich, the subject of entry number 1520 in the Unsung Heroes and Heroines Competition (MS 7461). Also included: Photocopies of an outline of the life of Steve Alagich in Australia in addition to photocopies from “Napredak”, 1946-1957 and a letter describing the history of “Napredak” and another Yugoslav community newsletter “Borba”. |
