Notes extraites de divers ouvrages etrangers & traductions, between approximately 1810 and 1820 0.03 m (1 volume) Manuscript compilation of voyage articles written in French and English assembled by an anonymous compiler discussing navigational issues in Australian, Pacific and Asian waters. One section of the manuscript discusses the anchorages and weather of Port Jackson, the New South Wales coast and the route towards Cape Horne. The manuscript also contains varied and extensive notes on Timor, the China Sea and the Straits of Sonda, a reference to HMS Bounty as well as personal observations about Cape Town (1 volume).
